Identity and Intersections

This autobiographical series explores the intersection of personal experience and contemporary events in the U.S. and Israel. My upbringing in Israel's Orthodox Jewish community, my subsequent transition to a secular lifestyle, and my immigration to the U.S. have shaped my identity as an Israeli American woman. This work confronts the chauvinistic domination of men within religious institutions.
