My Quarantine in the Woods and at home, with some Mythological Characters

Pandemic lockdown in NY: On March 14, 2020, few months after my one artist show in Israel, we left NYC and moved to Sag Harbor. I felt isolated in an apocalyptic age and spent most of my time walking alone in the woods . Quickly, the forest became a very familiar place. The trees, colorless, naked in the late winter time, horizontal and vertical, dead and alive, looked like human limbs, like figures crowded together in a world of isolated human forced to social distancing.

Without the ability to plan for the future with so much unknown, I escaped to the past and my love to greek mythology. I imagined my quarantine with different mythological characters and creatures like Morpheus, Sisyphus, etc…
